Al-wattan is a popular and unique Arabic bi-weekly newspaper. Its message is to form a bridge between the Arab Canadian community and culture. Topics of interest include but are not limited to the following: politics, society, culture, community news, education, childhood, beauty, health, science and technology.

Our objective is to provide a newspaper to Arab Canadians that encompasses a full range of relevant and interesting resources and topics.

The readership of Al-wattan includes the Arab-Canadian community, scholars and executives interested in Arab economy and affairs, ethnic and cultural institutions and the public at large. Al-wattan reflects on the rapidly growing segment of professional and educated Arabs of all ages. It also strives to include anyone that lives by or is intrigued by the Arabic culture.
Circulation
The printed version of Al-wattan Newspaper currently reaches about 40,000 Canadian-Arabs, as well as readers from other Canadian communities in Ontario in the following cities: Toronto, Markham, Richmond Hill, Vaughan, Newmarket, Ajax, Whitby, Oshawa, Etobicoke, Mississauga, Brampton, Oakville, Burlington, Hamilton, Guelph, Kitchener, St. Catherine’s, Waterloo, and Cambridge.
The newspaper can be found in over 220 outlets which include major Arab Canadian events, community centers, mosques and churches, public libraries, Arabic restaurants, food markets and retail stores. Al-wattan newspaper is a free periodical for the public.
